The drivers are VERY unprofessional: departing whenever they please, even though the bus was EMPTY. Our group ended up having to wait for one of the other drivers to decide to take us back to the hotel. In particular mr. Povremeni Prijevoz and mr. Občasini is one of the most disrespectful ones. So I don't recommend neither the agency nor these drivers. We were shouted at because someone was smoking an electronic cigarette in the bus and insulted unjustly. Also the driver got awfully close and was extremely menacing (we are a group of young boys and girls around 18 years old). On top of all of this we saw those same drivers smoking an actual cigarette as if the bus was his alone (mind you we had rented the bus for ten days). Again I don't recommend "Arrivabus".

I didn’t realise the bus was terminated at Crofton, and while I was prepared to walk, he very kindly checked with his manager he could drive me on to Ryhill as I was by myself in an area with no kerbs/streetlights. I want bus services to be brought into public ownership. Arriva Bus UK have no interest in running a proper evening/weekend service for non-profitable routes. I have been left stranded on two occasions recently with no option but to pay £40 for a taxi. I am middle-aged man but what about the safety of women who are stranded after Arriva buses fail to turn up?
In the name of all that’s holy, invest in real-time passenger information like other bus providers. Bloody cheapskates.
93% 1 star reviews for Arriva Bus UK. We can’t all be wrong, can we? When will politicians take notice? I use Red Line Buses and Carousel Buses all the time and don’t have to cause to complain about them.

The arriva bus app is totally useless for starters! All the times as of now are all over the place. They don’t make sense.
The timetable has changed 21st July apparently yet the customers are last to know, therefore we have missed coaches home and to work due to have absolutely no idea of who to contact as no updates are sent to customers, not on the app, their site or calling them as they work only min-fri CS 9-5 on the phones which is ridiculous as we are stranded not knowing what on earth is going on if something happens to a coach or the service especially after 8pm
Customer service offer absolutely no compensation or good will gestures for glaring poor customer service.
So poor arriva! Very disappointing!
National express are better for a reason!

No busses of the Fastrac B for over half an hour and two Fastrac buses speed by with 'not in service' on. Why? Why does this always happen in Dartford when there are many busses of all other numbers and companies running freely. Plenty of other fastrac busses. I hate the fact this is the only bus service that goes near my house and I have to rely on them. Shambolic. Why not just cancel the service it would be less disappointing .

When we're told we should use public transport more often, Arriva stands as an example of why you really shouldn't. Half their commuter buses are cancelled without warning or explaination, sometimes without even the good grace to tell customers they've been cancelled and their customer service is pathetic. Does not function as a bus service, mostly because it just does not care to. I cannot denounce this worthless company enough.

Getting on the bus from Woodside to work. Female driver takes it upon herself to raise her voice in an aggressive tone because I didn't hear she wanted me to remove my card. I had my earphones in, when I did remove them that's when she start becoming extremely rude, aggressive and belittling infront of other passagers.

Jul 25, 2024I got on the 8.20am X22 from haymarket newcastle. Later in the journey there was a detour the driver did not know where he was going actually backed up in the middle of the road as missed detour sign asked passengers where to go and then did not come off correct exit at the roundabout so instead of being beside plessey woods he managed to get us on the spine road at the three horse shoes. I then had to go to the front of the bus and direct the driver to bedlington station and get back on track to bedlington high street. Think a bit more training is required and understanding of areas. Yes this did happen it does sound unbelievable but I'm sure it can be verified through the bus tracker and the other 5 passengers on the bus.Also there would be alot of bus stops missed.

If i failed to turn up let alone turn up on time, i would be sacked. Appalling bus service who treat their drivers abysmally, meaning no one wants to work for them, meaning they are constantly short staffed, meaning up to 2/3rds of their buses are cancelled. Their approach to ‘customer service’ is for a bot to automatically answer any post on social media with a request for you to complete a form, which is not even dealt with by Arriva. They in turn email the garage who will either say i) insufficient staff or ii) not enough serviceable buses. That’s it. It’s truly paying lip service to the concept of customer service. They (meaning senior management) absolutely do not care. You have been warned.
EDIT: As you can see, this review has been answered by a bot that posts a reply that is IDENTICAL to every other negative comment made here. As I confidently predicted above.
